Meet the Photographer
Adopted at birth, & I am nothing but grateful today. Born in San Antonio, Texas, raised in West Des Moines, IA! Grew up loving & playing basketball until the day I made my way to the stage! I love to sing, I love to worship.
I spent 7 years as a dental assistant after graduating from Waukee High School in 2011. I loved working in the dental field, the career I thought I’d retire from. Then one day, all it took was one desire that the Lord put on my heart, one dream, & receiving what God had planned for me. Here we are 8 years in & I’ve been taking photos for families, newborns, maternity sessions, special milestones, seniors, couples, weddings, as well as volunteering at my church, marketing for small businesses, & events.
I’ve always wanted to be able to serve in ministry. Whether that be for young women, adults & the youth & to help serve a community where recovery support for mental health & addiction is needed. My journey in life, my testimony, it’s something I’ll always share. I’ve struggled for years with my mental health, bipolar disorder, postpartum anxiety & depression, trauma, divorce, abandonment, & addiction. I’ve lived days of not wanting to live out my purpose that God had planned for my life. My life today is free from suffering because of the Lord. Taking everything one day at a time, sharing my redemption story & what God has done for my family & I. You can live a life that is full of hope, full of freedom, & full of JOY. I choose to live a life where my foundation has been built through my faith in Christ. It has been shared with me that I am never alone, & I hope after meeting me, you’ll know & feel that you yourself are never alone. All my love & blessings to you!
